While not a traditional Jamaican restaurant, Cornish Jerk House offers a delightful fusion of smokehouse, BBQ, and soul food with a Jamaican twist. Their generous portions and bold flavors are truly impressive. The chonky oxtails, bathed in a sweet and spicy BBQ jerk sauce, are a standout. The burnt ends and smoked wings were equally satisfying, making for a memorable meal. The prices are fair, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. The Jamaican rice was a tasty side, although the cornbread could have been a bit larger. If you're looking for hearty, flavorful comfort food, Cornish Jerk House is a great choice.

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with jerk on our honeymoon in Ocho Rios. Since then we always try to find Jamaican food locally which is not easy! The jerk seasoning here is SPICY and delicious! Definitely worth the longer wait for our food because it seemed fresh. Plantains are my favorite Jamaican side and they didn't disappoint here although they are sweeter than what I've had previously and be prepared for them to come out piping hot in a sticky sauce. The one thing I will say is that the prices are a little higher than what I would like to spend regularly on BBQ even if it is tasty! And the atmosphere is generally pretty loud so maybe not the best for small children but all in all it's a great place and I would love to come back and try more of the sides.

The food here is absolutely sinful. It's incredibly delicious--makes me mad how good it is, lol. Everyone needs to go. The owner is one cool dude, too. Will be coming here a lot. My sister brought me here And I'm glad she did.

Flavor!!! That is really all you need to say about this food, but I will say so much more. Every dish has its own unique flavor. The cornbread is a soft, moist, and sweet square of deliciousness! The Mac and cheese is creamy, cheesy, and has a slight kick. The jerk chicken philly cheesesteak was spicy, sweet, and savory all at once. A great medley of flavor that I won't soon forget. I need to go back and try more. Enjoy!

Best BBQ in OKC by far. They do some unique things no other restaurants in town do. Try everything it's all great!

If you want some good smoked meats with some great sides to go along then this is your place! The hours are a bit different but it is worth the effort. Only negative thing I would say is that it does take awhile for the food to come out but then again, it's always worth it.

Went in on a weekday and they weren't too busy. When you walk in there's a line to order at the counter, and only one couple was ahead of me. I already had an idea of what I wanted so ordering was very quick. The burnt ends were delicious, but not the best I've had here in the City. The smoke flavor adds a nice touch, but the smoke was the only flavor you got from the meat. I made good use of the house bbq sauce. The sides were packed full of flavor. The greens were delicious and the mac and cheese was so creamy. They do put a bit of chopped pepper in the mac which didn't bother me, but may offend some. I paid just under $30 for one meal which is far from cheap for my usual; but I was able to eat on this plate for two meals. I took my food togo, but they have plenty of seating and a bar if you'd like to dine in and enjoy the vibe. I highly recommend, but make sure your money's right before you go.

Oxtails were I could only eat the side small ones before getting full, so I still had the four big ones for the next day and hubby was able to eat two of those. The greens and rice and peas were so flavorful! We had the owners' daughter as our server and she was fun, helpful and knowledgeable! We will definitely be back.

On a very rainy day in Oklahoma City, we decided to stop into Cornish Jerkhouse to grab to go dinner. We did not expect this place to be bad, but didn't expect it to be so amazing since we haven't heard to much buzz. Well the word should be out now! This place is amazing! We really wanted to try their oxtail dinner, but they were already sold out. To us that is a sign to get in earlier the next time. So we changed plans. My boyfriend chose the two meat dinner with ribs and smoked chicken. His sides were Jamaican rice and plantains. I had the three wing dinner tossed in honey bbq sauce with greens and sweet potatoes. Neither disappointed! The highlight were my babies ribs! OMG!! The flavor was spot on! Amazing! All the other items were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the greens, but I'm a vinegar girl and needed a bit more of a kick. They still were good though. We will have to come back to try the oxtails and have drinks. The weather didn't hold off long enough for us to do so. Oh and did I mention they have amazing tvs and hookahs available?! Great new spot in Oklahoma City. Show them support!
